I have something to confess. I am an addict – a
reality TV show addict that is. This addiction came just pretty recently when I surfed channels on the TV one night. I came across this new show called "The Beauty and the Geek" on WB and it easily caught my attention.
The story begins when seven equally attractive single women and seven intelligent men are thrown together in one big house to learn from each other exchanging expertise on dating, fashion, math, science, and history. This social experiment was the brainchild of matinee star
Ashton Kutcher. The show can get you easily glued in front of the TV set because it is a total genius. I can’t believe that people who are totally opposite with each other in everything can get along pretty well and interact to teach each other on ways to grow as individuals. The geeks are all characters. They act differently in front of beautiful women but still retain their geekiness.
Everyone was just having fun. The geeks were taught by the girls how to dress in fashion,
tips on dating, and even the latest about Britney Spears. While the geeks showed the girls how to build a rocket, taught them about American history, etc. In the end, only one couple will survive the tests to be called "The Beauty and The Geek."
