Academy Award-winning director Steven Spielberg has blasted critics of his
recent film "Munich" which bowed in theaters on Christmas 2005. The film captures the psychological aspects of the
Israeli retaliation against the Palestinians who perpetrated the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972
Munich Olympiad. Jewish commentators in the United States criticized Spielberg for equating the Israeli assasins with the Palestinian militants.
The director said in his interview with the German broadsheet Der Spiegel: "These critics are acting as if were all missing a moral compass.
