
One of the much awaited movies of the year, The Da Vinci Code, will make its debut in the 59th Cannes Film Festival this coming May 17. The film is based on the bestselling work of
Dan Brown. It is about a symbologist who discovers clues on
Leonardo Da Vinci's works when a curator was murdered in the museum.
The film is directed by Ron Howard. It is starred by a global cast, with the lead roles going to Tom Hanks, French actress Audrey Tatou, and Jean Reno.
Avid moviegoers will have to wait their turn for the worldwide release of The Da Vinci Code which is slated two days after the Cannes premiere.
